DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2009
Submissions on a wide-range of themes are welcome. We are especially interested in proposals that showcase student involvement in projects or in generating online content. Some of the topics presented at last year’s event included:
- Digital Media Project: Helping students get ahead with the new web
- Health Sciences Online
- WebCT/Blackboard Vista – Navigate a Path through Enhanced Learning and Teaching
- Kuali Student at UBC
- Strategies for Enhancing Learning through Live HD Video Conference Courses
- Podcasting – Continuing Education for Medical Practitioners
This event is deliberately informal, using a poster presentation format. You will also have a chance to do a short 2-minute presentation, showing attendees what your poster is about. Prizes will be awarded to the best poster presentations, as determined by Open House attendees.
Participants from each unit will be provided a booth (consisting of a table and 4’ x 8’ poster board) to showcase their work. Please let us know in your proposal if you would like to set up a screen and projector, or have any special requirements.
The deadline for participation submissions has been extended to Friday, November 27, 2009.
