Title: Portfolios: Supporting Teaching and Learning Through UBC’s Portfolio Community of Practice

Presenters: Roselynn Verwoord, Community of Practice Develop, Teaching and Academic Growth
Catherine Paul, Community of Practice Facilitator, Office of Learning Technology

Description: UBC’s Portfolio Community of Practice led by the Centre for Teaching and Academic Growth (TAG) and the Office of Learning Technology (OLT), brings together faculty, staff, and students who are using portfolios – hard-copy and digital collections of evidence that show your learning journey over time – to enhance teaching and learning. At this poster presentation, we invite you to view several sample e-portfolios from members of UBC’s Portfolio Community of Practice and to explore software options for developing your own e-portfolio or an e-portfolio project. Find out how you can connect with others across campus, access more resources, and contribute to this growing community of practice.
