Description: The Distance Learning team within the Office of Learning Technology collaborates with UBC faculties to design and deliver online distance education courses. With over 125 courses spanning 30 different subject areas, OLT designers have developed a range of courses to support different pedagogical approaches, using a diverse toolkit of learning technologies. Our presentation will showcase many interesting examples of effective design of distance education courses, to highlight how UBC students benefit from high quality, interactive online learning environments.
